Baptisms are celebrated at Holy Cross Church on the third Saturday of each month at 12noon, with the exception of the Lenten season.  We ask that you contact the rectory following the birth of your child to begin preparations for the sacrament.  Please call the rectory at 845-355-4439 to register for the baptism.

The sacrament of Reconciliation is administered every Saturday from 4:30pm through 5:15pm in the confessional located in Holy Cross Church or by appointment.  Please feel free to reach out to the rectory if you are in need of the sacrament.  Additionally, Holy Cross Church participates in Confession Monday, one in Advent and one in Lent.

For those young people preparing for the reception of their First Holy Communion, this is arranged through our Religious Education Office.

Each and every week, Holy Cross Church holds Eucharistic Adoration.  We gather on Monday from 4:00pm to 9:00pm and again on Friday from 6:00am to 11:00am.  Come and sit for an hour with the Lord in His Eucharistic presence.

The Church holds that Marriage is the covenant, by which a man and a woman establish between themselves a partnership of their whole life, and which of its own nature is ordered to the well being of the spouses and to the procreation and upbringing of children has been raised by Christ the Lord to the dignity of a sacrament.  For those wishing to be married at the church of the Holy Cross, they should contact Father Michael at least six (6) months prior to the desired date.

The sacrament by which a baptized, confirmed male enters into the ordained ministry.  Those unmarried men who feel the call to serve as a Priest, and those who are married who feel the call to the Diaconate should contact the Pastor at the rectory for additional information.

This sacrament, which is for the reception of the gifts of the Holy Spirit, is administered as part of the Sacraments of Initiation.  For those young people preparing for the reception of their Confirmation, this is arranged through our Religious Education Office.  For those who are adults and have not yet completed their initiation into the Church, should contact our Adult Faith Formation Coordinator for information regarding the RCIA program.

The sacrament of the Anointing of the Sick is for the healing of mind and body.  It is for both those who are nearing the end of their earthly life as well as for those who are advanced in years or suffering a serious illness.  Please contact the rectory office to arrange for the reception of this great Sacrament of Healing.
