Feast of the Assumption

Monday, August 15th is the Feast of the Assumption, a Holy Day.    While the obligation is lifted this year because it falls on a Monday, a special Mass will be offered at 9am in Church to honor our Blessed Mother.  Please join us!

Our Parish Mission begins this weekend at all Masses (May 21st 7 22nd) and then with a special program on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday evening at 7pm in the Church.  Our mission director, Mr. Tony Bellizzi, is quite well known here in our parish.  For years he has been doing our confirmation retreats for both the parents and the 8th grade Confirmation students.  I promise you this will be an incredible spiritual experience.  This is also a wonderful opportunity to reach out to friends and neighbors, perhaps some of who may have wandered away from the church, to come back home.  Invite them as Jesus did simply by saying….”Come and See”.  I hope to see you here for the mission.  Please also join in praying for the success of this mission.
